18:13, 26/06/2024 In the middle of May, specifically on 13 and 14 May, the University of South Bohemia campus was transformed into a festival centre full of music, entertainment and great food. The event, called Zavírák, attracted not only students, but also the general public who came to enjoy the varied programme and unforgettable atmosphere.
The festival kicked off on Monday 13 May with a warm up evening, which included a student quiz in the Rockle Club on the theme of the cult TV series Friends. The evening continued at Club K2, where The Playlist Party took place, with a DJ playing the greatest hits at the request of visitors.
The main programme took place on Tuesday 14 May. The campus of the University of South Bohemia was transformed into a festival town with the main stage featuring bands that provided an unforgettable atmosphere. The line up started with the band William, the winner of the Uniband Contest, followed by the band Don Bon, then the energetic Šrouby a Matice, and the whole musical program ended with the popular Slovak band Helenine oči, who made the whole crowd dance with their performance.
After the successful festival, the visitors moved back to Club K2, where the after party was held until the early hours of the morning. In addition to great music and dancing, visitors were able to refresh themselves with delicious burgers from Bouda Burger and enjoy pipes from Kafe a Dýmky v Lese.
The Zavírák 2024 festival has made an indelible mark on the memory of all participants and we are already looking forward to the next edition. Thank you to everyone who participated and we look forward to more experiences together!
